haha... so i've not been updating... well, its cuz i'm busy living my life rather than writing abt it... ;) but yeah... some happenings of significance... lol

last fri-sat... stayed over at nick's place w zp... sx n weili came for a while but left n didn't stay cuz they had to attend college day... (yes, i was so pissed abt it cuz the sch dared to leave me off their list. wth, what do i have to score to get invited?! damned... tt was till i talked to cm n yuan on sunday then i realised they weren't invited too... so i was like... uh ok, whatever)

yeah, back from the detraction... we really had quite a bit of fun... been a while since the 3 of us got together and played the whole nite thru once more... :) slept at 5.30! lol... oh, had some nice tell-on-others-n-ourselves session as well... now i really found out quite a bit of interesting tidbits... ;) so sad... missed the times we spent together in sch last time... all the lunches and going over to each other's places... u guys have really been such wonderful pals... :)

on sat evening was colin's bday party! haha... it was quite simple... initially... until 'boss' (its a girl!! -.-?) decided to hatch an evil plot. of course, being such angels, we all turned out ears eagerly to what she had planned... so we went to the poolside.. as if we were gonna dump colin in rite? he, thot he was smart... and grabbed inneryin as a hostage... but nono... we were smarter... we proposed a toast to him! ;) yes, a toast to his body... lol... inneryin dumped the water on him and soon, a whole tirade of water flew... LOL! and what an all might shriek it was to go w it...! ahaha!!

oh... then, al decided to give colin a chocolate facial with the yummy cake... colin, if u ever read this... haha, it was not al's own doing (come on, u couldn't expect him to do sth this bad on his own rite?)... i cajoled him to do it... haha... it was damn amusing the resultant food fight... all the running, flying slippers... oh yes! :p well, too bad i had slept a mere 3 hours the nite b4... i was really too tired to join in the clubbing fun u guys had after tt... but i'm sure u all had fun... :)

and yes... sunday, went to watch yihan's play... 'The Inspector Hound'. he actually acted as the inspector hound... and me, foolishly thot tt would've meant tt he gets the more airtime! well.. no. i couldn't have been more wrong... he had the second least airtime... ok, maybe 3rd if u include the corpse tt has been under the table cloth for the whole play... lol! overall, it may seem a lil confusing initially, but really... it was as complicated as cm made it sound... it was quite entertaining... though some of the pretentious accents were quite unbearable... ;) yes... the colors were surely eye catching... and pamela was acting like such a bimbo... :x had fun though... its been a while since i watched a play... wish i had more money so i can catch more stuff like this... :)

ok.. i've been lazy w my blog... i can't say for sure i can remember the things tt've been happening... but i'm gonna try... ;)

last weekend, as some of u who tried to call me might know, i was in genting... its was such a ball of fun man! :) hee... the bus driver was driving like a lunatic... at like 100+ km/h making sharp turns?!! -.-" i was so in shock i couldn't really sleep on the bus... lol! during a pit stop, me, royston and gary had ice cream... and christine was like, "its one o'clock... ni men hui shi de"... and for the next few days, she'd tell me tt i'd die (from fats) cuz i love to eat so late at nite... ;)

so we reached getning at 5 am i think... and so no hotel room till 12, and we stoned from the lack of slp... ;) we had dim sum... the porridge was bland... lil did we know tt was a prelude of what kinda food we were gonna have later on... hehe... anw, we deposited e bags and ran off to the outdoor theme park! :D we started off w e corkscrew... it isn't e most impressive rollercoaster, but to start w it... was quite a thrill! ;) we, just couldn't get yanxin onto it though... she was too scared... :(

yup... anw... after tt, we took various other rides, like e go kart racing... which totally SUCKED for me cuz my car was so slow for no reason?! stupid gary and silei lapped me i think... *pouts* and yeah... gary made such a scene when he failed to step on the brakes and crashed into the back of silei's car!! lol! she almost flew out... :x

then was the ride tt shoots u all the way up (dunno how high), so u get a nice view of genting...! and then lets u free fall, then up down up down u go... lol! the view was sure breath taking... n b4 e ride, i was trying to figure why no one screamed... n i did! haha... when u first start falling... u r too shocked to even react... ;) ahh... so tt's why. but well, scream queen christine did managed to utter a lil whimper i think... ;)

generally the rides were ok... not too fab though... haha... now comes lunch! the food looked really good... all kinds of food... so u would think they were at least somewhat platable... and when u take a bite... "OH MY GOD!" exclaimed christine...! hmmm... i thought... was it *tt* yummy?! upon further examination of her face... it proved to be e opposite... lol! her wanton soup noodles had soup as bland as water, except it tasted like flour! the wanton was powdery... and i dunno... :x mine was just as bad... and in fact so was everyone's! :( the barley beancurd thingie was deemed the worst... :/ it was like they forgot tt e dessert was supposed to be sweet? healthy cooking maybe... lol! and so we played zhong ji mi ma to try to finish up some of the food... played 6 rounds or maybe 8... nvm tt... pt was tt, it was always me, christine, me christine... blah blah.. u get e idea? :( hur... bet it was some sorta conspiracy!! :( well... we sure are tong yi guo one! lol... ;)

yup... and after tt.. we returned to the hotel... to a horror!!! we checked in... and e rooms were not cleaned. bedsheets everywhere, and cups in the sink?! wth. i called the management and complained... sorry, we'll get some one to clean it. called housekeeping, same answer. called the manager... same thing?! approached the cleaner... 'my colleague's at makan'. screw u! lol... i didn't know whether to laugh or cry... i was quite mad though...

so we just left and proceeded w our plan to ktv... hee, it was sure a load of fun... e rooms there all had different designs and all, too bad we got a lady bug looking like one! :P royston... i hope i didn't spoil yr tian tian by tao zhe... think u looked a tad displeased w it... :/ i know its yr fav song... lol!

dinner was so much better... ;) of course... we bought our way to a better dinner... ;P it was some korean bbq thingie... and they did it for us... so it turned out pretty delectable... :) and yeah... later tt nite...

we decided to try to enter the casino... and since only 21 n above were allowed... i figured i had lil chance, me looking so young and all... :P haha! we all were dressed up and ready to break in... yanxin, christine and royston got lucky... they found an entrance tt was unguarded... :( unfortunately... me gary and silei were left stranded... stopped at every entrance and checked! bah... :'( oh wells... it was nothing great anyway according to e intruders... just a bunch of smoke... ;) :P

after our failed ordeal... we went to starbucks to chat and talk till it was so late and we were so tired... and then, we slept at last... :)

the next morning, me being a lazy lazy bum... refused to get out of bed... and yanxin and gary being such darlings bought us breakfast! :D so i could laze n have food in bed... hee... :D god i'm a bum... :x

yeah... so after much more lazing, we finally got our sorry asses up n going...! ;) was planning to go bowl... but as we were walking.. this huge wall loomed ahead... and the little spiders in our group couldn't resist going up the wall! haha... some one tried to go up the wall claiming he wouldn't fall but did... shall not name e person... :x but both christine and silei did a really great job man! they scaled up all the way... commanding a huge audience below... woohoo! pix not w me though.. boy, those huge china guys must have had their egoes so bruised when they couldn't do it... lol!

well, bowling was a disaster.. :x but lets not mention it... haha! ;)
this trip was really great... so happy to have went on it... :)

you know there are these times when u r just feeling pensive, and thots run thru yr head endlessly (n u realise tt u actually have a brain of sorts..)...

yup, n u dun feel like doing anything? and u r just so exhausted in every sense of the word? yes, i'm feeling like this... sighs.

been quite some time since i updated... guess life's been quite uneventful... :p

tues was lunch w al, colin, gary and ra... but tt's besides the pt... lol. i had to teach tuition for the first time... 2 vjc students... j2, math and chem. it was a complete disaster. i mean, who could've expect i'd open the door to find stats?! i was stunned for the longest time as they say there, waiting for me to solve the questions. i had to resort to apologetic smiles and then flipping thru my files and grumbling aloud, "how can anyone remember this?!" to their agreement... lol! ;)

well, tt said, i'm soo glad i didn't get fired... lol! they actually recommended me to their friends... hope tt goes well... :/ at least i know what to prepare now... haha.

wed! aha... as i was watching desperate housewives (oh, i got all the episodes on my com... must so thank ra for it, its absolutely abosorbing... the characters are so likeable and amusingly bitchy... haha!), got a phonecall from yixin, who had tix for this show - necromancer. i was like, ok... sure, why not? lol... so i went. it was quite... awful... haha! totally gory and full of black magic... lol. well, creepy if u will... i really found the scene of the headless boy banging the table while blood was splurting so amusing... oh, and the scene where this girl got scared to death while she was bleeding so her eyes were wide open and she was in a pool of blood? lol...

then went to the airport to send py off... still haven't got the photos back yet.. wasn't tt sad an affair... guess its cuz py managed to hold back her tears... i'm sure if she let them out, many of the girls would've done the same... its always a chain reaction kinda thing... ;)

thurs was tennis w ra in the morning... played well towards the end... kinda found my rhythm and started hitting everything so hard... hadn't had the strength to do tt in ages already... so pleased... :) hee.. in the evening, had dinner w hs... well, was looking for some casual shoes, but ended up buying this quiksilver jacket... we really had v different opinions of which one to get, but i stuck to what i liked... i wish i could've combined what i liked abt the 2, together... :p

hmmm, past few days have been rather hectic... left me a tired but happy shell... :) think this week is gonna be the same... its amazing how i can't even find time to settle down w a book. i'm getting stupider everyday... :/

anws, this morning had tennis n now i look like a tomato. yes, burnt i am. played like crap... legs were jelly like midway... just couldn't move them. felt like lactic acid had just invaded and sapped all life out of them... :/

afternoon, had lunch w aloy! then yinghao joined us and we just went rampaging round orchard. ate so much... felt like this overbloated monster! :/ there's a food fare, foodcourt, coffee club, venezia (sp?) blah blah... lol... poor me, w $10 left in my bank was trying not to spend too much from my wallet, albeit unsuccessfully.. :/ but had loads of fun meeting up w them... :) (btw, i'm soo sick of orchard.. going there way too often.. n dun ask me what i would like to eat there, else i'd just walk into mezza9 or sth... hehe)

went out on sunday w yx, mich, wanz n aaron... arrived w yx at paragon, trying to find the sushi tei... hmmm, mich gave such wonderful instructions - end of metro. hmmm, end of metro, inside metro? isn't tt a v strange place for an eatery to be? lol... and sure enough mich meant tt it was above metro... *rolleyes* yes, and she gave the wrong floor too!

anw... phoneix rolls... rich kid mich ordered them... looks soo nice... got shrimp head and tail... avocado, unagi and some other stuff... hmmph! get fat eating all those avocadoes! :P

then... we went to TCC after much deliberation and aimless sauntering round... instigated by some unknown person who said 'let's go' which... apparently was me... hmmm?! i had some grapefruit chocolate expresso... it was 6.20 for this measly cup of sourish coffee with grapefruit shreads... more than my salmon don... ha. below is a pix of aaron's *handmade* tiramisu... looks v nicely decored i must say... ;)

hmmm, funny how i've more pix of food than pple... ;) anw, mich is just making me soo green. she travelled to uk, aus, japan, taiwan within this short period of time... has a car which she intends to drive to sch in and is just loaded. arggh.. some pple just have it all huh? bah. yx went usa, wanz is travelling all over for her fencing coms too... i feel stuck here. miserable... hur... :(

hmmm, tiring day... :p lol... well, partly cuz i did have a tiring day ytd...? let's see, ytd went round to look for parting gift for py and wp... managed to do it quite quickly... :) decided to make a photo album of our trip to aussie, and write some personalised notes inside... had quite a bit of fun doing it... lol!

this crazy old man though... kept telling everyone around, "i'm 82! so my leg hurts, blah blah..." enough already. he asked pple to help him clear his cup, look after his bag, and goodness knows what else. and he always starts by telling pple he's 82. big deal.

yup, after tt, went over to suntec (hmmm, been going there way too often... lol!). bought more clothes, they're soo cheap... and went to watch F4... it was not a very exciting movie honestly... had its funny moments i guess, was ok la, but not fab..

today, i taught my sis chem! she needs a lot help to pull her sorry ass from failure... :/ she's like totally clueless on quite a bit of things... was quite stunned. shall make it point to teach her more... :/

anw, tonite was farewell dinner for py and wp... i was soo late thanks to the sucky bus once again. the all powerful government decided to seal off lotsa roads leading to suntec area... (so smart considering its such a major road... typical.), and so, i'm stuck on the bus, inching its way along cuz of the diverted traffic. it took me an hour plus, for what usually takes 20 mins. best part? ha, the bus never went to suntec. it went to cityhall mrt, and me, being so alert, thot, wait a min, this isn't rite! so i asked e driver, n he said, its not going there today. tadaa! i had to get off and walk another 15 mins. brilliant... lol. k enough abt tt...

dinner was at this teochew imperial restaurant. they had this chicken with lily flower or sth... and tt was absolutely delicious... i never knew flowers could be this good! :q usually, they're not v good. there was an overzealous waiter who kept shifting our plates and trying to clear them :x

py was sooo amused w my hair... dunno y. its been like tt for quite long what... haha. and apparently, i just need an ear piercing to look like a punk. no thanks... lol. ;) so we chatted lots, and had quite some fun... miss those days along those long dining tables in aussie... they were great. we'd joke and laugh our way thru meals as we saw the bread... :')

after tt was ice cream at swensons! actually, i'm not a fan of swenson's... their ice cream is soso only... so much prefer ben's and jerry's. now tt's heavenly man... :D ok, tt's side tracking. oh, after tt, i dragged them to the aracde, where i beat nick at daytona. haha... all those driving lessons paid off huh? ;) and then made a total fool of myself with gunbullet. i like forgot how to hold a gun or sth... :/ haha... and played percussion master! was quite fun! think i'm getting better at it man... managed to pass a hard stage... ;) *proud look*

oh yeah... i've gotta post this abt this helldriver i had today... took the wrong bus... wrong number, with the most horrid driver ever. :/

when i flagged at it... it sped past me, opening its door, as if expecting me to jump on it?! then skidded *loudly* to a stop... far far away from me... lol! then throughout the jouney, it did tt... imagine the various reactions of the potential passengers, especially those running past it flagging vigourously cuz they thot the driver wasn't gonna stop for them... lol!!! it never failed to not stop in the bus stop.. lol.

oh, and it grazed the curb cuz it was driving so fast... *rolleyes* then midway, this vagrant got onto the bus... and he brought along this aura man. it was this most awful stench... so many pple turned their heads as he walked past... lol. pple from the back of the bus started moving forwards, and even pple in front were covering their noses. it was tt bad... :/ i just got off the bus... lol...

oh, and while shopping, met various celebrities... i've no idea who they are... but yihan does... just recognise their faces somewhat... lol! :P

unleashed the shopping demon in me today... lol! spent over 200 bucks today trolling the streets with yihan! lol... i really tried... so hard not to buy so many things... it could've easily been $500... and besides, jeans from zara at 50 is a good deal rite? ;) arghh... wish i had more $$... oh, and i think brownies at the brownie factory are really yummy... they've all kinds of exotic flavours... and are really v reasonably priced... try it! :D

haha... yeah... and stupid nokia. they've probably the worst software for the phone ever... it took me so much trouble to even install the bloody thing, and now, it wun work after only a few days. what crap. and i so am gonna try to get the 6280 when it comes out year end... its gorgeous! :D haha... xmas gift maybe? ;) lol!

its a pathetic piece of crap no? its this miserable piece of booklet, trying to squeeze so many things in, with many 'useful' links to websites, in dual color. haha. compared to the stuff Chicago U sends me (fully colored books, with fold out posters and maps, beautiful pix... etc.), NUS looks soo cheap.

yeah, i'm being unappreciative, but so what? comparisons will be made. if the chicago U being so much further away, can send me airmail every other week, and deliver mail on time, i dun see why NUS can't even get things right by sending me my stuff on time. furthermore, those retards try to cramp everything into 1 mail. ha, i really dunno what to make of tt.

ok, tt aside... chicago U has been quite impressive... i've got so many pple contacting me from tt side... i've even got my own mentor! haha, he's back in sg and wants to meet up w me... hmmmm, and what's more the singapore student society has invited me to dinner! they're having vacation, so are back in sg i think... it all sounds so good.

i'm just disgruntled right now. hope i'm not making a terrible mistake by doing this.

yup... nite time was tennis w cm... played ok... guess my forehand has somewhat improved? ;)

ack... i've got too many albums to listen to, no time at all... so many vids to watch, so many things to do... think this 1 month break ain't gonna be long enough w so many things i've gotta do. shucks... how time just slips thru my fingers... :(

i've just been blog surfing... and i realised i'm not quite as close to quite a few of my friends as i used to be... perhaps time isn't on my side... book out times are precious, and sometimes choices have to be made... but i know its my fault... often i just fine some lame excuse to push aside gatherings... hopefully, i wun do tt anymore...

yup... anw, some happenings... ...

went ra's place for finals viewing on sat... haha, cheered for vee against the other anti vee fans... hur! meanies! :P

dyed my hair with some super powerful bleach... my scalp felt like it was burning and after i was done, i washed my hair... and it was clumpy and felt like it was gonna fall off! lol... my hair has never felt like this b4... scary... thankfully, i conditioned it, and its better now... the result is nothing unique though... bah! :P

bought a new wallet at flash and splash... they're having 15% off storewide... wish i had bought some clothes... but it was too crowded, and tt put me off... haha! just as well huh? :P

oh... n sat was the first match of my tournament at my condo... though i know i played v badly tt day, i felt i had a lot of fight throughout the match... i was behind for most part, and at 7-8, i had to save 2 matchpoints... leveling at 8-8, the rest was history as i sealed the tiebreak after an hour and a half... an incredibly long match. was glad to be able to hang on and squeeze it out in the end... :)

haha.. ok, then came today... my opponent was just too experienced for me... he knew how to deal w almost everything i threw at him... i just have to hand it to him... maybe in a year's time, when i've improved, i would be able to pull out more matches... tennis is so much abt focus... think i need to be able to extend my concentration length... bah. it has always been such a huge flaw of mine, never been able to concentrate on anything for extended periods...

yup, and vee... so proud of her... :) she finally won a slam after ages!! :) she showed amazing form during the semis against maria... and in the finals, though playing like crap, she managed to fight thru! she was behind the whole match, and saved championship pt, but finally, once she took the lead.. she did it! :)

so my last few days of civilian life have been... rather great! :D i'm certainly not having any problems reverting back to civillian life... haha

anw, ytd (thurs), i had to return to stagmont camp one last time... to settle all my paperwork and stuff b4 i got officially disrupt... returned to find tt my new friends had actually reserved a bed for me... (i dunno for what cuz i'm leaving anw... but strangely, the other 3 of my colleagues on driving course as well dun have beds?) ah... then i had to experience the bureacracy tt makes army such an inefficient thing... all the silly paperwork to settle... this and tt to return! thank god ian has been such a help... getting all the signatures for me, and return stuff for me while i was away on course... :) so after tt was done, we just slacked around... like really, nothing to do at all there... its soo slack. pple get paid to sit around and eat man... i'm not sure my parents would be pleased to know tt's where those taxes went... :x

yup, so after all was settled, i finally got to leave the camp...! headed down to cmpb... but first, dropped off ian's bags at his place... and wow, his house was an eye openner man. its next to teo chee hian's hse (which has a security guard w a rifle of sorts incidently.. n he stands at the road tt leads to ian's n his own hse so ian gets free protection? lol)... and the hse has a huge pool, and is just huge in its own right... someday, i hope to own such a house, w a tennis court, as well as a convertable... and... ... ok, i should stop dreaming for now... ;)

so we reached cmpb and after walking thru this long corridor, i got my pink ic back... ah... the exhilaration... -not- haha... somehow, it wasn't what i thought it would be... lol! and the lady kindly reminded me... i'd see u in 7 years may... oops, i'd be an old man by then... :/

and my tennis competition is tmr.. so i played tennis ytd and today... ytd was just plain awful... i felt like an amateur... totally sucked. could not keep a ball in play, and the double faults just came raining down... ha! i was dubbed not using my head by my coach... he sure was right. hurhur... thankfully, today was much better, played w sh n ra... initially, it was still... crap. but slowly, i got into a better rhythm... hope i can find it tmr... pls pls... i wanna win...

oh yes, ytd, vee won!! it was such an amazing match against maria... the pace those balls were being hit... i really dunno what to say... it was just stunning... really. the level was just up there for the whole match, and the power, depth and placement was just amazing... i'm soo happy vee is back! she really is... :) and maria wasn't shabby... she played really well, but just was outcast... ah wells..

had suki sushi buffet this afternoon, can still taste the butter oyster in my mouth... :/ gosh, i ate soo much... but it was good. the sashimi (yum!), the oysters, the whatever else (i dunno e name in jap, n it'd be so silly to describe it in eng)... but it was good. ;) haha

yup, so far, my days have just consisted of lying on sofa watching tv... lots of it... man, i miss the sofa and the tv so much... oh, and the net of course... its such a wonderful invention really. maybe i'd venture to games next... ;)
